Fulham manager Martin Jol has revealed he is slowly losing his mind since the departure of midfielder Clint Dempsey.
It is believed that the overweight Dutchman is harbouring a deep and unyielding love for the Tottenham player, resulting in unbearable outbursts of romantic gestures towards the 30-years old, such as flowers, chocolates, mixed tapes and ‘steamy’ photographs.
A source close to Jol revealed that since the American’s departure the hairless embrassment is struggling to see any purpose in life.
“Clint meant a lot to him, the move hit him hard. He sees no point in life anymore.
“Last week he shaved his wife’s head while she was sleeping. He makes her wear a number 23 Fulham jersey everywhere.
“He needs Dempsey back in his life.”
Fulham F.C released the following statement on the club’s official website:
“In light of the recent man love revelations involving club manager Martin Jol, we would like to give him our full and unreserved backing.
“Here at Fulham F.C we treasure eccentricity, which is why we applaud Mr Jol for his admirable display of fortitude in his exemplary expression of character and obsessive love for former club captain Clint Demspey.”
